Matt Dell - Director / Senior Botanist
Matt has over 20 years of experience as a consultant botanist. He is a recognised expert on the flora of south-eastern Australia. Matt has managed numerous biodiversity assessment projects and has consulted as a principal to government and the private sector for the past 16 years. He has experience with ecological research design and analysis, GIS and workshop facilitation. He is a member of a government scientific advisory committee and is an honorary associate at the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria. Matt has an excellent track record with delivering high quality work, OH&S and management of large and small projects.

Baeckea Driscoll - Botanist
Baeckea has consulted for Southeast Botanical Consulting since early 2024. She has a range of experience undertaking surveys including vegetation mapping, condition assessments and threatened species surveys. She is experienced with plant identification, ecology, data management / analysis and remote fieldwork. Her research includes threatened plant conservation and pest animal / plant interactions in the Victorian Alps.

Fieldwork and other activities are planned with client consultation. Staff are experienced in leading field surveys and assessing associated risks to health and safety.
